Sale police allege the 26-year-old woman was involved in a burglary at a Sale unit owned by an elderly woman. The burglary occurred around 8pm Saturday. The son of the elderly woman went to visit his mother and allegedly disturbed the burglar.

The man allegedly held down the woman until police arrived. The woman was remanded in custody to appear in court Monday.
