TWO Sale male youths and a Sale man will be charged with burglary and theft following a burglary at a Briagolong service station this week.

A 23-year-old and a 19-year-old man have received bail to appear in Sale Magistrates Court at a later date.

A 16-year-old male youth has been bailed to appear in Sale Children's Court for this incident and other charges relating to a Traralgon burglary in March and the theft of a car in Sale last week.

A 17-year-old Sale female youth has received a caution.

Briagolong police said the burglary occurred on Tuesday night.

Police said a quantity of cigarettes, soft drinks and CDs stolen in the burglary had been recovered.

THOUSANDS of dollars worth of cash and goods were stolen in multiple burglaries in Maffra over the weekend.

The burglars stole cash and a computer from a kindergarten in Queen St and also stole money from the Maffra RSL.

In Station St burglars entered Maffra Poly and Pumps and stole money, two mobiles, a camera and some cheques.

A laptop was also stolen from Michael Canny Excavations next door.

Maffra police are asking anyone with any information about the burglaries to phone them on 5147 1026.

A 50-YEAR-OLD Sale man caught drink driving four times over the legal limit will be charged on summons.

Police stopped the man for a breath test in Reeve St on Monday afternoon.

He allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.22.

PHOTOS aquired by the Heyfield and District Historical Society have been stolen from the town's Railway Hotel.

At least seven photos have been stolen from the hotel's Mill Room in recent months.

The society is urging anyone with information about the photos, mostly of the local timber industry, to come forward or phone Heyfield police on 5148 2202.
