A SPATE of burglaries at businesses in Maffra appear to be linked, according to Maffra police.
Thousands of dollars worth of cash and goods has been stolen in multiple burglaries in Maffra in the past few weeks.
In the most recent spate of burglaries the thieves attacked four premises on Sunday night, stealing items from two.
Burglars took a laptop computer, a wallet, money and other personal items from a unit attached to a business in Johnson St.
They also stole cash from the Sumatan tanning salon in Johnson St the same night.
There were also two attempted burglaries at the Foster Place cafe in Foster St and the Maffra Barbecue Chicken shop, also in Johnson St.
The weekend's burglaries follow a number of break-ins on May 23 and 24.
A kindergarten in Queen St, Maffra Poly and Pumps and Michael Canny Excavations in Station St and the Maffra RSL were all targeted.
Maffra police Sergeant John Byers said their evidence pointed to the burglaries being linked.
"It's evident they're particularly targeting commercial and business premises,'' he said.
"We're doing all we can at the moment with the Sale CIU to try and find out who is behind this.
"We are asking people who have seen anyone looking suspicious around commercial premises late at night or early in the morning to contact us, as well as anyone who is offered merchandise for sale.''
Anyone with any information about the burglaries is asked to phone Maffra police on 5147 1026.
