SALE police have praised the behaviour of race goers after the Sale Cup on Sunday.
According to Senior Sergeant Joe Sestokas, revellers behaved both at the track as well as later in the night in Sale.
"We had virtually no trouble,'' Sen-Sgt Sestokas said. "We escorted one person out from the Cup, and that was it.''
"We conducted over 900 alcohol breath tests and nobody was over the limit. We had a good day and a quiet night.''
A 22-year-old Sale man was arrested early on Sunday night on an array of charges. Police charged the man with trafficking amphetamines, possessing the proceeds of crime, possessing a prohibited weapon as well as possessing cannabis.
The man was bailed to appear at the Sale Magistrate's Court in January next year.
MAFFRA police were kept busy on Saturday night, as several youths ran amok after the Maffra Show.
While police praised the behaviour of revellers during the show, several youths aged between 12 and 15 years old were busy "making a pest of themselves.''
According to police, the youths damaged several mailboxes and fences along McMillan, Alfred and Carpenter Sts, as well as throwing about hard rubbish that had been left on the kerb for collection.
YARRAM police are urging people with boats moored at Port Albert to lock their boats and remove valuables after a recent spate of thefts.
According to police, several boats were broken into last week, with mostly fishing equipment being stolen.

YARRAM police are appealing for witnesses following two unrelated assaults in the area.
The first occurred in Woodside at the public hall at about 2am on October 25.
According to police, a 24-year-old man was outside the hall in the carpark when he engaged in conversation with another man.
The 24-year-old was then hit in the head by the man with what police believe to have been either a beer bottle or a glass.
The second assault occurred at Hiawatha, where an 18-year-old male was walking with his girlfriend at about 11.30am on October 22.
Another male who police said was known to him approached the 18-year-old and punched him in the face. The 18-year-old suffered a split lip and several damaged teeth.
Police believe there were several witnesses to both assaults, and are asking anyone with information to phone Yarram police on 5182 5033.
YARRAM police are seeking information about a vandalism attack in Dougherty St over the weekend.
A mini bus parked in a private property, known as the Curry House, was graffitied with obscenities between the hours of 6pm on October 24 and 9.30am on October 25. Anyone with information is asked to phone Yarram police on 5182 5033.
TWO women and a man were arrested on a variety of charges in Yarram last Friday.
The trio were arrested in the Woolworths carpark at about 12.30pm and were charged with theft, handling stolen goods and cannabis possession. They were subsequently bailed to appear at the Sale Magistrates Court at a later date.
