A 59-YEAR-old motorcyclist was airlifted to Melbourne after he was injured in a single vehicle accident at Winters Pinch, near Licola, on the Heyfield-Jamieson Rd about 9.15am Sunday morning.
Maffra and Sale Traffic Management Unit police attended the scene.
Leading Senior Constable Susie Kewley of Maffra Police said it appeared the rider lost control of his three wheeled vehicle and ran off the road. She stressed riders needed to exercise caution at all times and particularly on the winding road to Licola.
ROSEDALE Police are investigating a suspicious fence fire at 68 Albert St, Rosedale on Saturday morning. The occupants of the house were alerted to the fire by a neighbour at 12.50am as it burnt the timber fence and spread into the property's garden. Rosedale CFA and the occupant extinguished the fire which caused an estimnated $500 damage.

HEYFIELD Police seized a firearm on Saturday night at Blores Hill after receiving complaints of a shooter spotlighting and shooting from the roadside across farmland.
The shooter will be summonsed to answer firearm offences.
A TRARALGON man in his 20s has lost his licence for 10 months after failing a breath test on Satuday night at Blores Hill.
Heyfield police said the man was the only driver to exceed the proscribed blood alcohol concentration among 200 tests carried out over the weekend.
HEYFIELD Police intercepted a P-plate driver at Cowwarr on Saturday night driving without lights on the Traralgon-Maffra Rd. He will be charged on summons.
POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding a serious accident in Yanakie Saturday night.
Investigators believe that a white Ford Laser sedan was travelling north-east on Foley Rd, Yanakie when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The car collided with a concrete power pole which snapped off at the base before careering off into a paddock where it caught fire.
The driver, a 15-year-old girl from the Yarram area, suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Children's Hospital.
The front seat passenger, a 15-year-old girl also from the Yarram area, suffered serious injuries and was also airlifted to the RCH.
The other passenger, a 15-year-old from the Yarram area, suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Latrobe Regional Hospital.
Investigators have been told that the car may have been travelling up to 160 km/ph.
Sergeant Neil Coates of Foster Police was stunned by the collision.
"What is it going to take for young people to get the bloody message,'' he said.
"With the injuries that the girls suffered it is very close to becoming a tragedy.''
Police wish to speak to anyone who witnessed the accident.
