POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a collision at Clydebank left local doctor Heather Hunter with serious injuries on Saturday.
The incident occurred on Saturday, October 10, at about 7.30am on Clydebank Road near the Chinns Bridge causeway.
Investigators believe that a white Toyota Landcruiser 4WD carrying a green water tank collided with the cyclist. Police said the exact details of the accident were not clear and police would like to speak to anyone who was driving or riding along Bengworden Rd or Clydebank Rd on Saturday.

SALE police are warning racegoers that there will be zero tolerance of drink driving at the Sale Cup.
Sergeant David Hynd said police will be comprehensively breath testing cars leaving the racetrack, and urged all who are going to the cup to behave responsibly.
"We will endeavour to breath test every single car leaving the race track, alongside also having a police presence within the grounds,'' Sgt Hynd said.
"What we are telling people is that if they're considering having a few drinks at the Cup, then don't drive.''
