A "grand slam'' homerun by Ben Laux capped off a good day for Braves.
Better players for the Braves were Luke Prior, Laux and Bucci, while Dylan Adams, Keiran Donaghue and Will Hector were the Rangers' best.

FOG forced the colts match at Churchill to be abandoned with only one inning completed with Sale ahead 6-0.

SIX Sale Rangers will travel to Ballarat this weekend to represent Latrobe Valley at the state under 18 championships.
Josh Scicluna, Nicole Garner, James Jackson, Brad Taylor, Tom Munn, Tim Hector and Rhiannon Smith will be joined by John Goedhart, Luke Hamilton and Gary Larkin from Churchill, Moe-Newborough's Nathan Simpson and Andrew Bloomfield, and Linden Goodman from Traralgon.
The squad will be coached by Rangers A grade captain Will Hector.
