Magpies yet to break their duck

SALE is yet to record an A grade victory this season in West Gippsland-Latrobe netball following a 72-22 loss at home to Traralgon.

In what was always going to be a tough task for the Magpies, the Maroons proved too good with their win keeping them in second position.

Sale's only win for the day came in the under 17s, 41-34, while the under 15s match was drawn 26-26.

Traralgon's 43-22 under 13 win helped it move past Sale to the top of the ladder.

At Morwell, Maffra went down 66-29 and is outside the top five on percentage.

The Eagles had success in the juniors, winning the under 17s 32-22, under 15s 50-8 and under 13s 30-17.

LAST week Maffra's A grade side was too good at home for Sale, winning 50-17.

The Eagles won the B grade clash and Sale C grade.

The Magpies won the junior matches. The under 15s was a thriller with the visitors winning by just one goal.
