SALE won four of its six West Gippsland-Latrobe netball matches against Warragul on Saturday.
For the Magpies' A, B and C grade teams, it was their final matches for the season with the under 13, 15 and 17 teams to play in the finals.
The A grade team went down to Warragul, who is fifth and will play in the finals, 95-16.
In B grade, Sale defeated Warragul 44-31 in a high standard match.
The Magpies lost in C grade 44-14.
The under 17 team had to work hard for its win over third-placed Warragul. The Magpies led 9-8 at the first change, were five up at half-time before holding on to win 42-30.
The under 15s also worked hard for their win, playing their best netball in the final quarter to win 33-19.
The under 13s played their best netball for the season during their 46-4 win.
Maffra's three junior sides recorded victories at home against Garfield.
The under 17s won 39-14 and will play Drouin next week, their likely opponent in the elimination final a week later.
In the under 15s, the Eagles won 45-7 and also took out the under 13s, 30-6 with both sides to take part in qualifying finals.
Garfield won the B grade clash 47-44, and C grade 40-22.
The Stars have not fielded an A grade side this season.

DESPITE a 77-40 win over Cowwarr, Gormandale missed the North Gippsland A grade minor premiership.
The Tigers finished level on points with reigning premier Woodside, but the Wildcats' superior percentage handed them top spot and the first week of the finals off, while Gormandale will meet Heyfield tomorrow.
The Wildcats proved too strong for Churchill, winning by nine goals.
Rosedale pushed into the final five and an elimination final against Sale City after a hard-fought five-goal win over Stratford.
Sale City shot out of the blocks to grab an early lead against Boisdale-Briagolong before powering away to win 71-35.
Heyfield worked hard against Traralgon-Tyers United, winning 37-22.
