CAT'S and Leesons drew 3-all in last Wednesday night's touch competition at Stephenson Park.
At half-time Leesons led 3-2, but was kept scoreless in the second half as CAT's scored a try.
CAT's Michael Whittaker top-scored with two tries while Adrian Whittaker scored one. For Leesons, Steve Deveney, Colin Haywood and Bryan Lazzaro each scored a try.
Best players were Kerry Shotter, Anita Wilson and Michael Whittaker with Alyssa Stanley winning the encouragement award.
Gippsland Grammar A defeated Nagle College 7-3 after leading 4-3 at half-time.
Best players were Jake Cockburn, Alex Rowles and Jacob Harrap with David Commins winning the encouragement award.
Payless Promotions showed its class in defeating competition leader Phoenix four tries to two.
Corey Siebel was the topscorer for Payless Promotions with three tries with one from Tim Craig. The scorers for Phoenix were Henry Ropeti and Matt Smith, with one try each.
Best players were Corey Siebel, Anna Lovatt and Ropeti with Ursula Barnsley winning the encouragement award.
Mancans had a convincing 11-1 win over The Fist.
Top scorer was Scott Mulley with five tries. Andrew Mason, Mark Nesbitt and Aaron Spencer each scored two tries.
Colin Haywood was the only player to score for The Fist.
Best players were Scott Mulley, Sharon Butt and John Woodhouse with Elizabeth Scott winning the encouragement award.
Stegbar Storm forfeited against Gippsland Grammar B.
