Sale swimmers went straight to the meet from their annual club camp at Coonawarra and, although tired from staying up until the early hours, they scooped the pool in the 11 to 12 years age group champions as well as winning two gold, a silver and two bronze in the relays.

Sophie Fox and Ian Melrose won the age champions in the 12-year-old age groups, while Miranda Shepherd won the girls' 11 years age champion and Josh Tatterson the boys'.

Aaron Castle claimed the boys' 10 years age champion.

Medals were awarded for the points gained in age group races only.

Not to be out-done, club captain James Vandersteen had exceptional success in the open events, finishing with six silver and one bronze. William Lee and Megan De Wys also picked up a gold each in the open events.
